Does an ice bath need construction work?
The floor-standing version, no: it arrives ready and needs a level floor, a dedicated socket and a drain nearby. The sunken masonry version joins your build - we coordinate with the contractor.
How much power does it use?
Like a large refrigerator: the compressor cycles to offset incoming heat. In typical home use, pocket change per day - the kWh estimate goes into your design.
Can I use the tub without the chiller?
You can - as a cold plunge tub with store-bought ice. But 90% of clients who start that way order the chiller within 6 months; we leave the connections ready for the upgrade.
