Home/Saunas & ice baths/Cold plunge pool

Product no. 1

A custom cold plunge pool - 4 °C cold that looks like a spa

A true small pool: a masonry shell, mosaic you choose, submerged steps and water at 3-5 °C all year round. The chiller stays out of sight - in a service niche or buried alongside - and at the rim you see only the temperature panel.

Round blue-mosaic cold plunge pool sunk into a timber deck with a panel reading 4 degrees

The standalone tub was the beginning of ice bathing in Brazil; the cold plunge pool is the destination. At home it becomes the terrace's centrepiece; in business, it is the only solution that takes a post-workout queue 16 hours a day without looking improvised.

How it is built

  • A waterproofed masonry shell - proper pool-builder work, not a tub workaround.
  • A finish of your choice: ice-blue glass mosaic, tile, porcelain or stone - we show real samples with the design.
  • Submerged steps with a discreet handrail: getting in at 4 °C is hard enough; getting out shouldn't be.
  • Sunk in, with a seating rim or elevated - it follows your floor's design.
  • Refrigeration out of sight: the chiller in a ventilated niche or buried alongside, hidden plumbing, and a simple temperature panel at the rim.

Round or square?

The round one is the home favourite - it doubles as a reflecting pool in the landscaping. The square one with a travertine rim yields a seat and talks better to straight-lined architecture - see the Brasília house. In gyms, the shared rectangular one takes two or three athletes at a time. And whoever wants the complete ritual closes with the hot + cold pair.

How much does a cold plunge pool cost?

R$ 45-80k for the round one and R$ 50-90k for the square, with works, finish and properly sized refrigeration included. The hot + cold pair lands at R$ 95-170k - indicative ranges, locked in the free 3D design.

Where does the chiller go?

Out of sight: a ventilated service niche behind a louvre or a buried box beside the pool. At the rim, only the temperature panel - which is why the photos show no machine at all.

Can it be done in an apartment?

On a penthouse with load reserve, yes - the shell becomes a light structure with the same finish. In the 3D design we verify slab, drainage and access before any commitment.
